Two of our lodges are pet friendly, so be sure to mention if you have a dog when making enquiries.
All lodges have one double room, one twin room, a good sized bathroom with shower over the bath, and a light, bright open plan kitchen , living and dining area.
We provide within the lodge:

- Nespresso coffee machine
- Welcome pack of tea, biscuits and milk
- Toiletry pack
And outside:
- Veranda with a bench to view the vines

Breakfast is available every day in the Bistro from 9.30am Monday to Saturday, and 10am on a Sunday. Lunch is served every day as well as coffee, teas, soft drinks, cakes and afternoon teas. Vineyard Mini Break
Why not join us at Old Walls for an in depth look at the inner workings of a traditional English vineyard?
We are offering a 3 night vineyard experience for 2 adults to arrive on Friday and depart on Monday, as follows:
- Arrive Friday between 2pm and 4.30pm for a traditional Devon cream tea – cream first, jam next!
- Check into your country retreat lodge
- Join us for tapas on Friday evening between 6pm and 9pm (3 dishes per person included, drinks not included)
- Breakfast on Saturday from 9.30am to 11.00am
- Vineyard tour and tasting from 11am, includes a guided tour of the vines, the wine making process and wine tasting, finishing at 3pm with a Ploughman’s lunch in Regents Bistro
- Breakfast on Sunday morning from 10am until 11.30am, leaving the day free to explore the ever popular South Devon coast and an opportunity to purchase Old Walls wine to take home and share with friends and family
- Monday checkout by 11am
*Breakfast is a standard size “Full English” with a cup of tea or filter coffee (the Full English can be changed to other options on our menu).

Perfect wedding day
"We chose Old Walls as the venue for our wedding reception as we live in the village. We knew our guests would find the setting beautiful and so convenient with the lodges and plenty of parking, but we had no idea what a fantastic success it would be! Enjoyable vineyard tour
"The whole tour was very informative and entertaining. The guide was very knowledgeable about the vineyard and the wine-making process. The wines themselves were excellent, each of the visitors being given the opportunity to taste them. The adjoining restaurant overlooked the vineyard and the valley of Holmfirth and the breakfast we had was very good. Overall a very enjoyable morning."
Stayed for a 4 night stay with dogs
"We stayed in one of the dog-friendly lodges. It was beautifully modern, crisp and clean. The staff were very helpful and the place was really peaceful and quiet. A very relaxing place to stay and great dog walks on the beaches at Dawlish and Teignmouth. The lodge wasn't big but it was beautifully formed and had wooden floors throughout, as well as a fully enclosed garden so great for dogs. A great place to stay with dogs."
Best Roast Dinner!!
The food was excellent, we had a roast dinner and it was genuinely the best roast I've had in a while. (I went to Rick Steins The Cornish Arms week before for a roast and Old Walls far outshone it!) Lots of quality veg, Yorkshire pudding (even if you order pork) and great cuts off meat. Really love the vibe up here too and on a sunny day I'm sure it would be lovely to sit outside as it has gorgeous views. Wine lovely too!
